Martina will be performing at the Akbank Jazz Festival, Istanbul, on Wednesday 10th October. 

One of the longest-running festivals in Turkey, it's 22nd anniversary heralds a diverse international line-up, along with panels, workshops, cinema, and social responsibility projects, from October 3rd til October 21st.

Martina recently joined the African Express Train Tour 2012, which ran for a week.  MTB performed Crystalised with John Paul Jones and Jupiter in Bristol and was at all the shows apart from Middlesborough.  Read all about the epic adventure here from the official African Express Tour 2012 site

Martina is delighted to be performing at the YouYou mentoring fundraiser event tomorrow evening, hosted by The Disappearing Dining Club. 

YOUYOU Mentoring is a unique non-profit organisation that creates bespoke mentoring projects for 17-21 year olds who aspire towards careers in creative industries, hospitality, business and conservation.

Documentary maker Louis Theroux will open the evening with a welcoming speech, with guests treated to drinks, canapes, 5-course meal, entertainment and silent auction as part of the ticket.

Items up for grabs include: Atelier-Mayer 1950's diamante pendant necklace, stunning photographs by award winning rock music photographer Andy Fallon, graphic illustrations by D&AD Award winning Big Active and once in a life time gastronomic dining experience at The Cube Electrolux, The Royal Festival Hall.
